we are going to release the box turtle today. we are going to release it in the woods behind the local pool.

Eastern Box Turtle

we rescued an eastern box turtle from the rode today.

it is in an aquarium.

we are going to release it in a few days.

For the Animal Shelter.

Yesterday we collected 16 cans of can cat food, 2 cans of cat treats, 11 cat toys, 6 cans of can dog food, 4 bags of dog treats and 5 dog toys for the local Animal Shelter. we will be delivering these items later this week. thanks.

Shooting Stars!

We saw six shooting stars! they were beautiful!

Water Cycle

When it is a hot day, some of the water in the oceans evaporates and forms clouds. the water comes down in the form of rain, snow or hail. It rains and the water goes back into the ocean.

Some of the water also runs off the surface and into the ocean when it rains. Then the water evaporates again and so on. So the way it pretty much works is: Water evaporates, then forms a cloud. Then it rains, snows etc. and goes back in the water source. Then it starts all over again.

About the Nature Friends.

The Nature Friends is a club to help nature. Picking up litter is a good way to help nature,

because the litter pollutes the air and water. the pollution kills a lot of animals every day.

Helping animals is also a good way to help nature. Animals are being forced out of there

home because the forests are being destroyed. You can plant a tree and help nature.

The trees are home to lots of animals, like the birds and squirrels. Trees also give us

oxygen, in which we breathe. So plant a tree and help nature!
